After the Apple (part 1)

In the beginning was peace. From peace came rebellion, and from rebellion came the world we know today. Once sin entered into the equation, the rules did change from what they once were, and humanity's understanding, which flowed in the beginning from a harmonious relationship with God, immediately dimmed to the standard of blindness we all are born with. The stakes for this new playing field were set by God to the serpent, to the woman and to the man (Genesis 3). To know how we will be judged in the end, we should be well familiar with what we were told in the beginning.

In cursing the serpent, God revealed a key to the struggle of a fallen world:
Genesis 3:15
"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall crush your head, and you shall strike his heel."
This verse is commonly seen by Christians to be a prophecy of the messiah, who will conquer the devil. And it is, but not entirely. This is the first verse to tell us that the devil can/will have children. And his children will always be at war with the children of humanity. There will be more than one intelligent species on the planet. Considering how foreign that idea is to most of us, we should surmise that the children of the serpent, if they do exist, disguise themselves among us. They must thrive in deception, in shadows, in illusion and manipulation as their father does. The same way that Secret Societies throughout history have thrived.

Jesus described this hidden reality to us in depth, by his parable of the wheat and the weeds. He was very forthcoming when it came to exposing the treachery of the devil. But considering how ignorant we remain, despite his candid exposure, it seems that our minds are clouded from this truth, and we need the answer to be plain in order to accept it when we encounter it. The set up is clear, yet overlooked by most. Keeping this in context, If we go a bit further in Genesis, we find a genealogy which goes from Adam to Noah, who was saved from the flood by God. It is certainly no coincidence that at the very point that we first meet Noah, we are immediately introduced to another player in this dynamic drama of life and sin:

Genesis 6:1-4:
"When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the Lord said, "My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years." The Nephilim (or Titans, or Giants) were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown"
This passage tells us that angels married human women, and produced halfbreed giants as offspring. This crossbreeding of species is established by Moses, Jude, Jesus and others to be a sin before God, meaning that the daddy angels are fallen from obedience to God, and are thereby demons. This means that the earth was and is inhabited not just by the descendants of Adam, but also by these hybrid demigods, commanded by Lucifer, to rule, subdue, corrupt and destroy mankind. And this is far from the only passage that refers to these beings, and this new dynamic to intelligent life as we know it on earth. But those come afterwards. For now, let's stay in the time-line, and see what kind of records there are of life before the flood.

Enoch, who was the seventh descendant from Adam, and great-grandfather of Noah, wrote a book which, although not official scripture, goes into much greater detail about who these Nephilim are. He tells of how these creatures gave great technology to mankind, in exchange for mankind's obedience and worship. essentially betraying the secrets of God, as detailed in Romans 1:20-25 In this day and age of walmart and consumerism we should bear in mind that the comforts of civilization are a circumvention of God's curse to Adam (Gen 3:17-19), and therefore sinful in nature. Evil gives birth only to more evil. Imagine the earth as a garden, and evil as an out of control weed, that would be the state of our world today, as well as the state of the world in Noah's days:
Gen 6:5-6,8
"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every
imagination of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented
the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his
heart. And the Lord said I will destroy man...But Noah found grace in the
eyes of the Lord."
There was a direct, demonic influence in the earth because of the Nephilim, as told in depth by Enoch. Man had been enticed to choose self over God and to "eat, drink, and marry!" which refers to the devil's plan to eradicate the bloodline of the messiah by crossbreeding with all pureblooded decendants of Eve that aren't put to death. Because of this, God decided to flood the earth. He chose to save Noah and his family because Noah was "perfect in his generations" i.e. a pure human decendant of Eve, and therefore carried the bloodline that would lead to the Messiah, Jesus. The story of Eve's bloodline will continue with Abraham. But let us continue our study, if possible, on the world wicked enough to cause God to destroy it with a broken heart.

Greek mythology gives us an account of our introduction to civilization, written in the play "Prometheus Bound" which tells of how the secret of fire, and other technologies were brought from the realm of the gods to mankind. Prometheus has been described thusly;

"From love of mortals he roused their reason; he taught them to make dwellings, showed them the stars, the use of number and writing--mother of the Muses. He tamed horses and built ships, taught the virtues of healing potions, the various modes of divination, and how to turn to account things dug out of the earth. He it was who taught mortals all they know."

So what did these Nephilim actually do? It seems that they gave mankind the foundational stones, blueprints and supplies for civilization as we know it. We see the evidence of their presence in the astounding technology that has emerged in the past 150 years or so (as verified by Daniel 2:43).

However, many world myths are telling us that technology was first given to man long ago. Which coincides with the Genesis account of Babel, as well as Sumerian texts. Also consider the story of Atlantis, which describes an advanced civilization that was swallowed up by the sea. Compare that fable to the flood account in Genesis. Is this beginning to add up?

We have always been taught that world mythology is the product of overactive imaginations, a commonality that all cultures possess. Christians are taught to view fables and legends from other cultures as pure lies from the mouth of the devil, meant to lead people away from Jesus. Fear and foolishness have a way of clouding peoples judgment. Not to mention that modern science has trained us to believe in a mechanistic world free of anything fantastic. If you think about it, the same justification that gives common Christians disdain for believing in giants or titans or dragons (all mentioned in the Bible) is what gives atheists disdain for believing in God.
Proverbs 14:12
"There is a way that seems right to man, but in the end it leads to death."
The sedating influence of this modern world should be considered dangerous and deceptive. America is insulated from the suffering of the world, and because of that our sense of empathy is all but gone. We are being deceived and seduced into wickedness, thinking all the time how perfectly normal our behavior is. And that is the crux of the matter.

Human beings seem to have a natural need to justify, or explain the world around us. We have a need for that sense of normalcy. But it is a lie, a dark, filtered view of the reality we are immersed in. It is the darkness of unbelief. How many times did Jesus address his followers saying, "Oh ye of little faith!" God knows that's just a part of our nature. So does the devil. Let us take our natural presumptions about reality and put them aside as we explore what scriptures have always said.
Isaiah 55:8-9

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares
the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than
your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
1 Corinthians 1:25
"For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God
is stronger than man's strength."

Luke 17:26

"As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the
Son of Man,"

There is a great mystery waiting to be unraveled in world history, as well as in the Bible. I believe that we are living in the day when the light of truth will expose what has been hidden in darkness throughout the ages. What we see by the increase of that light will be foreign to us at first. But it's peculiar nature doesn't discount it's truth in any way. I do not intend to produce a cunningly devised fable here, but rather to cut away the presumptions and explanations held by generations to rationalize this world in the past. If what I say is true, it can be verified by scripture and history. If it isn't, that much should be easy to determine. I (and many others out there) venture out on a limb, and risk sounding mad by this exploration, but if you can bear with me, you will be astonished by what history itself has to say.

I like where this is going, generally. Looking forward to Pt.2

Not sure I see your point about easing the pains of life being evil though. Did not Christ hang on the tree in the dark and become the curse for us? Seems to me that would cover all curses - from whatever source.

Maybe I really don't understand your premise.
